Arlington Art Mural

Calling all Arlington tenants, Arlington community rooms is getting a fresh look, why not pop on down and help paint an Art Mural.

Dates for painting the wall:

21th Feb from 12.30 - 5.30pm.
25th Feb 12.30- 5-30pm (Sat)
27th Feb 12.30- 5-30pm

All painters and supporters are welcome, but if wet it will postpone to a later date.

of the Door knocking Marketing and Hub Use Survey Draws!

Wellington ICT conducted a series of door-knocking surveys to tenants living in Arlington, Newtown, Central Park and nearby complexes toward the end of 2011. The purpose of the door-knocking activity was to introduce tenants living in these complexes about the Arlington and Newtown flat computer hubs and the various training opportunities, free Internet and computer access being offered in these locations. It was also an opportunity to get from hub users their feedback to make our current hub services best meet their needs. A group of tenants were tapped to conduct the door-knocking survey. Thanks to their hard work and dedication we have received about 177 submissions from nearly 300 households that were visited. The results are presently being analyzed and a report will be prepared for dissemination to interested parties.

As an incentives to tenants who have freely given their time to be interviewed, 5 4Gb USB mobile disks were raffled off.

Ying, Aaron, Drena, Tania, Manu, staff-Barry, Beth, WCC-Community Action-Rosie, Corrina,  and all WCC housing tenants who have made this effort a success. We encourage everyone to come to the hubs at Arlington and Newtown to see and learn new and exciting stuff as well as have a know   and be a part of what your kids and youth are into nowadays. "
