Just thinking..... Time Time, day time, night time, time to eat, time to work, time to play, time to s$$t, time to p$$, time to go to bed, lets hope we all do these in the right order.
What’s time, who cares? Some people may use Fiji time, west coast time (west coast of the south island of New Zealand), but time is time, most would say we need time. Why is it, when we go on holiday, it seems, to take longer to get there, than it does to get back. You sit in the pub, with good mates or listing to good music, you look at your watch, and its time to go home. Do the same things the following week, time seems to drag. So is time needed? Well, if you own a business, the answer would be yes. If you don’t work, time would be less important. But in saying that, you would still need to know what time other people are on, otherwise you would never get to your winz appointments. How do you measure time? The alarm wakes you at 6am, Shower, breakfast, out the door by 0700 or 0730, bus or drive to work, get to work by 0800, Coffee or tea, a quick smoke. Sit at your desk, stand at your post. Your ready for another day at work. What’s the next thing that goes through your mind? What time is smoko, cup of jo, bur up? Then back to work. Time for lunch! Then back to work. Time for afternoon tea! Then back to work. Yes, I really think most people would then start thinking about, what am I going to do after work? Can I make it to the bank before it closes? Or should I have done that at lunch time? That’s right, Mike and Beth said they where going out for drinks after work. So you do a quick calculation, I could go out or the bank? No that would be closed by the time I get there. If I go out, what time would I get home? If I go straight home, what would I do till it’s time to go to bed? Either way you know it’s all going to start again tomorrow. Time is a component of the measuring system used to sequence events, to compare the durations of events and the intervals between them, and to quantify the motions of objects. Time has been a major subject of religion, philosophy, and science, but defining it in a non-controversial manner applicable to all fields of study has consistently eluded the greatest scholars CITATION Tim09 \l 1033 (1) Bibliography BIBLIOGRAPHY 1.
