Join the Council and the Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust to honour Te Rā o Waitangi with a day of music, dance, craft and great kai at Wharewaka, on the Wellington waterfront. When the sun goes down, Films by Starlight bring us Whale Rider on the Odlins Plaza big screen.
Soak in the evocative sounds of Whiri Tū Akā, an Aotearoa based five piece all-strong wahine Māori a-capella group. One of the originators of reggae in Aotearoa, legendary band Herbs take the stage with their soulful, heartfelt beats. Chocolate Box, the very talented DJ Ayesha, Vanessa Stacey and Lisa Tomlins are hitting the stage together to bring you a fabulous mash-up of vinyl, soul, funk and hip-hop sounds |
