| Who are we? Te Haika Mental Health centre facilitates referrals to CCDHB Mental Health and Addiction Services for those with moderate to severe Mental Health problems across Kapiti, Porirua and Wellington. About Our Team We are a multidisciplinary team of experience mental health professionals and are available 24 hours a day including all public holidays. We provide mental health advice, telephone assessment and support for anyone who has concerns for the mental wellbeing of themselves or others. (family,friends,colleagues,primary care services or others) Te Haika Mental Health Contact Centre Facilitates referrals to the following services: Acute(Crisis) Mental Health Services via CATT (Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team) Phone 0800 745 477 Te Haika provides telephone triage and CATT provide face to face acute assessment. CATT is available 24 hours for acute Mental Health assessments and treatment. Specialist Mental Health services:
| How to refer: A referral can be made by telephone, fax or email directly to Te Haika by anyone who has concerns for a person's mental wellbeing. You can make contact if you are worried about your own mental health. We encourage everyone to discuss their mental health concerns with their GP or Primary health care provider. If you or your family/whanau have any special needs or wish to speak with a Maori Mental Health Worker or other cultural specialist, please advise us. We will discuss your current mental health concerns and what services you may consider accessing. Services considered may be through Primary Mental Health and Community services.
