- Do you love science but can’t make it to the museums? This Thursday, the museum will be coming to the community centre! Science in a Pizza Box is a fun, engaging and interactive science show run by PhD student Michele Fontana. The show is FREE and will run this Thursday at 12noon, but spaces are limited so rsvp! - Come along to a night of ‘delicious beard-folk electronica’ and check out music from Fuyukos Fables, Groeni, Pales and Nadia Reid as they kick off their NZ tour. Saturday 16th Nov, 6pm, Newtown Community Centre, $10. For more info, check out their facebook page
- Last Tapes Theatre Company and JustSpeak are proud to present Verbatim – two short plays that allow some of NZ’s most marginalised voices to tell their own stories. ‘Verbatim’ and ‘Portraits’ were developed through interviews with violent offenders, their families and their victims’ families, and prove to be two powerful pieces not to be missed!
